My blessing for the day: it is my sister. She taught me the most simple prayer: Dear God, I pray (name) heals from the inside out. This prayer is powerful. It has saved my life, my marriage and I am watching family and friends heal around me. My kids and I say it for a list of people every night. It is also the prayer I say for my enemies, people who have hurt me, or someone who is out to get me. If these people have to heal from the inside out, then they have to deal with their own issues and they stop worrying about me and leave me alone. It is the most freeing prayer. When I do this for the people who trouble me, it makes me stop thinking about them. I do not carry their stress, worry, it all ends with a simple prayer. I challenge everyone to pray for the people who give you the most trouble or worry. Even someone that I has passed away and still haunts you. Pray for them to heal from the inside out. Pray this prayer every time you think about them. Then see how it changes your life. I say this prayer every night so my kids hear, “I pray mommy and daddy heal from the inside out.”
Just know, healing from the inside is rewarding in the end, but it’s hard to face all your struggles. Remember to pray for God’s help and he can calm any storm in a second. No one really likes change even if you are living in a bad situation. With God’s strength you can overcome any struggle. I literally pray for God’s strength to help me keep my mouth shut. I am learning grace. If you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all. Living this is super hard. Also, I have to pray for Gods strength to let my husband have the last word. Ugh!! The rewards are awesome. God’s my best friend, a mom, dad, all in one. He never leaves my side. Give this prayer a try and watch lives change. You have nothing to lose… Healing and peace feel really good. Good luck and God bless… And thank you Sista! You and Louis are the best examples of healing and trusting in God. So proud of you both…
